Serre Chevalier snowboarding holiday

Sunday, 02. 17. 2008  –  Category: Snowboarding

An awesome week snowboarding in Serre Chevalier last week. Finally getting round to post about it. Here goes.

After a few large group trips, this was going to a small, hardcore, flat out snowboarding trip with just 3 of us in total.
Day one started at 3am in South London with taxi followed by bus [...]

Serre Chevalier holiday next month

Sunday, 01. 13. 2008  –  Category: Snowboarding

I’m going to Serre Chevalier for a week in early February, having booked up this week. I’m going with two friends who started snowboarding at the same time as me more or less, and who I’ve snowboarded more with than anyone else. This time we’re leaving our girlfriends at home, and planning on [...]

I stayed in Morzine for 10 days over New Year and got most of my snowboarding in at Avoriaz. Here’s the trip report I’d been promising.
After an overnight stop in Geneva on December 28th, we got our transfer to Morzine first thing the following morning. We checked into our apartment and those of [...]

Boarderweek at Val Thorens

As the Alps start getting a bit more snow, Val Thorens kicks of their season proper this Saturday with Boarderweek.
Boarderweek sounds like Snowbombing in some respects… a combination of riding by day and live music and DJ’s by night.

Tuesday, 09. 26. 2006  –  Category: Snowboarding, Video

Am off to Morzine for 10 days over new year. Been looking around on YouTube and found this video.

Now, I’m more of a freeride kind of guy, so won’t be ripping it up like this dude. Cos, of course, I could if I wanted to. Honest guv.

Chamonix

Sunday, 01. 8. 2006  –  Category: Snowboarding

Just came back from a week snowboarding in Chamonix.
Conditions were generally great. There was a massive dump after about 3 days, leaving fantastic powder for the remainders of our time there.
