Snowboard fitness: calf raises
I’ve stepped up (boom boom) my snowboard fitness gym program, by adding in some calf raises.
Simply, standing with your heals over the edge of a step holding a couple of dumbells, and going up onto your toes.

I would imagine that this should help strengthen the calf muscles for those loooong front side turns.
Keeping my personal training log: gym this week on Saturday and Thursday, plus cycling to work 3 days. Slack week ahead with a boozy 3 day trip to Bordeaux midweek. Better pop to the gym after work tomorrow. 41 days to go…
