Bonfire Radiant snowboard pants

I bought a pair of Bonfire Radiant pants just before my last trip. Here’s a review:
I was after a fair of fairly high spec pants, and the Radiant pants fit the bill at 10,000/10,000 waterproofing and breathability. These are the two stats you need concern yourself with when buying outerwear I discovered after some research, what megapixels are to digital cameras, if you will. A 10,000/10,000 is fairly good, not top of the range but certainly very good mid-range at least.
I took them to Morzine with me along with my old Marker Ltd. pants. Just as well, as the Markers developed a tear in one of the seams after the first day riding in Avoriaz. So it was down to the Bonfire’s to do the job for the remaining 8 days riding.
Bonfire Radiant’s have a classic combat style, with plenty of pockets. There’s a detachable goggle-size pocket, which is best left detatched IMO.
The conditions varied, from brilliant sunshine, to rain and heavy snow. Some days were particularly warm. The inner leg zip vents and good level of breathability meant my legs never really got too hot. Whilst in the cold, wet and snowy conditions they really came into their own. So much so that they really showed how inferior my Rip Curl jacket is, especially in terms of waterproofing. My upper half was getting pretty wet compared with the Radiant’s keeping my lower half nice and toasty.
So, now I’m looking around at Bonfire jackets, keeping an eye out for a good deal on something cool looking. I got the pants in black from e-depot.co.uk (though now sold out there - you can get them from The-House.com at close to half the RRP), so really should get something a bit brighter for the top half. Drop a comment if you know of anywhere with some good deals on Bonfire jackets or any other decent spec snowboard jackets.
I guess e-depot got them cheap as overstock from last season. The Bonfire website has a profile of this seasons model which look a little different and have had the waterproofing level upgraded to 12,000mm, so couldn’t recommend them highly enough for most riding.
If you spend most of your time out in the backcountry you may want to consider a higher spec, but for most piste and off piste riding you wouldn’t go far wrong by treating yourself to a pair of these.

do the pants fit true to size or do they run large/small?

I’d say a little large. I’m on the M/L border, tried both and settled with the M which are a good fit, if a little tight round the waste but still baggy in the leg.
Have tried somoe Bonfire jackets recently and the M is a touch too small, L too big!!
