Hitting Kickers

As the Alps start getting a bit more snow, Val Thorens kicks of their season proper this Saturday with Boarderweek.

Boarderweek sounds like Snowbombing in some respects… a combination of riding by day and live music and DJ’s by night.

I’ve got a soft spot for Val Thorens. It was the resort where I first strapped on a board. And coincidentally the only resort where I’ve felt the need to seek medical attention. I wonder if I’ve still got that xray? Wicked party scene there too.

Boarderweek is bound to be a good one.
